Yes, we are living in unprecedented times. And above all else we hope you are yours have been staying safe and healthy. As we navigate life right now, we here at WETHEPEOPLE are taking the opportunity to reconnect with our community, readjust our infrastructure, and stay optimistic as we lean into what may be our new normal.

WETHEPEOPLE’s company culture is built on adaptability, which has always served us well. Now, more than ever, we strive to find solutions that will serve our clients without any hindrance on the final product; diligently address and adapt our production approach; shift our focus to projects in post and into the original content space; and continue, as always, to contribute to the development of our community.

As you know, storytelling is at the heart of what we do and that will remain. But right now our top priority is the health and safety of our teams on set. Just before stay-in-place orders were mandated across the country, we implemented on-set measures of our own that we deemed necessary. We were producing an ambitious shoot—one we are very proud of—and one where we practiced responsible production, laying the foundation of how we will all need to work moving forward. It was a foray into the future: keeping footprint minimal; maintaining safe social distancing; using appropriate sanitation and cleanliness on set; being ever aware of our people and their health. These, and more, are the safety measures we commit to upholding as we work with our clients to give them the best possible production experience.

We are optimistic that our industry will ramp up sooner rather than later, and know we are here for you when it does. As you navigate your current and future production needs—whether it’s a solution for an existing project, lending support for something new, advice on production service logistics, or just an opportunity to do some good—we are ready to collaborate. What we can work on together to make your vision a reality? We are standing by, ready to help.

You can be confident that when we do work together, we are upholding the highest standards for health and safety on set. WETHEPEOPLE developed production guidelines using communications consolidated from governmental agencies, the Directors Guild of America (DGA), and the Association of Independent Commercial Producers (AICP) to inform our pledge. These guidelines are not intended to create legal or contractual obligations, but as informative best practices to help prepare and maintain a safe working environment. We will continue to update this living document as new information and recommendations are made available.
